Jenialo is a Swiss platform for organising people and events. It answers one question: who does what, and when? It brings together your volunteers and participants, your events, roles, schedule, equipment and communications in one place.
Clubs, non-profits, companies, organising committees and even individuals coordinating a one-off project. A festival, a race, a village fête, a company event or a wedding are all organised the same way.
No. Jenialo runs in your browser, on a computer, tablet or phone. With Jenialo+ and the two one-off options, the people who help you also get their own app.
That's the idea. Contacts, availability, the schedule and last-minute changes live in one place, up to date for everyone. You can still export to Excel whenever you need to.
Every option starts with a 7-day free trial, no credit card needed. Try it with your own events and your own teams, then choose.
One-day event for a one-off project. Jenialo if you organise all year round. Jenialo+ if you also want to give each volunteer their own mobile access, with automatic reminders and cancelling from the app. Both one-off options include this access too. Full details are on the Pricing page.
No. Volunteers, participants and events are unlimited on every subscription plan. The price stays the same as your organisation grows.
Yes, at any time. You can also add or remove the Contributions & donations module without changing anything else.
Yes. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. Export your data before then: afterwards it is deleted or anonymised.
Yes. For CHF 9 a month, the Pause option keeps all your data: volunteers, events, history and documents can still be viewed and exported, read-only. The pause starts at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you pick up Jenialo or Jenialo+ again in one click, with everything just as you left it.
Both are possible. The yearly plan comes at a better price; monthly gives you more flexibility.
You create your own sign-up form and embed it directly on your website. People sign up on your site and their details go straight into Jenialo.
Yes. You create your own fields: driving licence, languages spoken, T-shirt size, skills, certifications, availability… You decide what's useful to your organisation.
Yes, with filters. For example, you can look for every volunteer who has a driving licence, speaks German and is free on a Saturday.
Yes. Send us your file and we'll help you bring it in cleanly.
With Jenialo+ and the one-off options, yes: a volunteer cancels from the app and you're told straight away, which gives you time to find someone else.
As many as you like with Jenialo and Jenialo+. The "One-day event" option covers a single one-day event, from start to finish. For an event of two to four consecutive days, choose "Multi-day event" (CHF 129, launch offer until 28 February 2027, then CHF 169); beyond that, a subscription.
No. Your right is used up when you create your event, and it's used up for good: deleting it or marking it as finished doesn't let you create another one. This isn't a technical limit, it's what the price covers: CHF 79 (launch offer, then CHF 89) buys one event. To organise a second one, buy the option again or move to Jenialo, which has no limit.
You can keep editing your space until ninety days after the date of your event, with two safeguards: at least ninety days after you buy, and at most twelve months. So you can buy in September for a party the following June, and still have three months afterwards for your thank-yous and final figures.
After that, your space becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted: your volunteers, reports and exports can still be viewed and downloaded for twelve months. We email you thirty days, fourteen days and three days before the switch.
You set up your inventory once (name, category, quantity), then attach to each event what needs to go and name someone responsible for each item. Jenialo tells reusable equipment apart from consumables, whose stock goes down: you can see what's left and what needs buying again.
Yes. After each event, every volunteer automatically receives their certificate, with the dates, the roles they held and the hours they worked. The document carries your organisation's name and can be viewed at any time.
Yes: email templates, targeted emails to all your volunteers or to those at a particular event, and push notifications with Jenialo+.
It's an add-on that brings the financial side into your space: contributors, payments, fundraising campaigns, funding applications and keeping track of thank-yous. It can be added to any option.
Yes, for Switzerland, with the Contributions module. Your donors get the document they need for their tax return without you having to write it. It shows your organisation's legal name, address, UID number and cantonal tax exemption reference, which you enter once on the Organisation screen.
No, not as things stand. The receipts Jenialo produces are Swiss documents. The French tax receipt falls under article 200 of the Code général des impôts and form CERFA 11580; Belgium and other countries each have their own format and required wording. It isn't a question of translation: it's a different document.
The rest of the module works fully outside Switzerland: your list of contributors, recording payments, campaigns, funding applications, thank-yous and exports. Amounts are also shown in euros if you set the currency on the Organisation screen.
If you need receipts for France, Belgium or another country, write to us. We'll look at what your country requires and tell you honestly whether we can build it and how long it would take.
Yes. The display currency is set on the Organisation screen: Swiss francs or euros. Every screen in the module, the exports and the documents follow this setting. Note that it's a label, not a conversion: amounts already entered keep their value.
Yes, whenever you like, and remove it the same way.
